Privacy Policy

Weavenly is designed to be a local-first desktop application. We do not operate a backend server that stores your personal information, your resume, your job applications, or your AI usage data.

What we collect

The Weavenly desktop app, when running on your computer, makes the following network connections:

• AI provider you configured - direct HTTPS calls from your computer to Anthropic, OpenAI, or your local Ollama instance. We are not involved in these calls. Your API key, prompts, and responses go directly between your computer and the provider. Subject to that provider's privacy policy.
• Gmail (if you connect it) - direct OAuth flow with Google. Your OAuth token is stored on your computer in data/settings/gmail-token.json. We do not have access to your email or your token.
• Update checks - Weavenly periodically checks GitHub for new versions. The request includes the current Weavenly version and your operating system. No personally identifying information is sent.
• Job board / ATS websites - when you use the Companion extension, it interacts with the job page in your active browser tab. The extension does not exfiltrate page contents to us. It only communicates with the Weavenly desktop app running on your same computer via a local HTTP loopback.

What we do not collect

• Your resume
• Your cover letters
• The jobs you apply to
• Your email content
• Your AI prompts or responses
• Usage analytics, telemetry, or device fingerprints

Verification

You can verify everything above by inspecting Weavenly's network traffic with a tool like Little Snitch or Wireshark, by opening console.anthropic.com and seeing AI calls under your own account, and by opening your data folder to see all your files stored in plain JSON.

Marketing site

This website (weavenly.app) uses minimal first-party analytics to count page views. No cookies. No tracking pixels. No data is shared with third parties.
